@ jacqueline Yes at that age it can be very normal, also hamsters have poor eyesight so it will not make any difference to the hamster.

@ Alyssa There are verious reasons why mother hamsters may eat their babies. The most common reasons are:

1. Babies were too weak to survive.
2. The mother hamster was stressed which means that the cage should always be positioned in a quiet environment and the nest should not be touched for the 1st 3 weeks.

My albino hamsters eye is going quite dull and cloudy. Also she is sleeping alot more. Is this normal? She is 1 and a half years old.

my hamster lost hair from his back and i dont know what to do i bought him from a flea market so i dont know wat to do please respondand i bought hamster food but its a corn cob that turns into popcorn its especially for hamsters cause i got it from a pet store i whant to now if its good for him

@della If you are ashmatic I do not suggest in you keeping pets. If you are allergic to pet dander, then a hamster is going to make your asthma worse, even if it is in another room.
